Drug abuse has become a part of our evryday life and has claimed many an innocent child and made them a victim. Disrupting families and breaking down communities at an alarming rate. Teachers are at their wits end trying to balance their day as result of undisciplined children. Mothers and fathers no longer wish to take responsibilty of parenting their children. In fact, children have taken the authority away from their parents in so many ways and sadly, parents have given it to them.

We need to appraoch the problem realistically because it is our responsibilty to ensure that we as parents take responsibilty for what is happening to our children. One of the problems is that we ourselves are not knowledgeable enough about the drugs that are infiltrating our communities and breaking down the very moral fibre of our people.
